Wizarding Tattoo Parlors.
I know it has been talked about before but I want to talk about wizarding tattoos and piercing again. Here’s just a couple ideas.
- A tongue ring that you wear to ward off minor hexes and jinxes.
- A Tattoo of a tree where the leaves change depending on the season.
- A pair of matching tattoos of a piece of parchment that can be wrote on to send messages.
- You see this dagger I have tattooed on my calf? It comes off into my hand as a real weapon when I’m in danger.
- A little dragon that flies around your left forearm.
- A pin-up witch that winks and waves at you.
- A tattoo that starts off as a rune but once you fall asleep and wake up in changes into something that is similar to your patronus, something that symbolizes who you are.
- A tattoo on somebodies wrist that warms up and changes color when they need to take their medications.
- Ear piercings that translate everything around you into your native language.
- Lip piercing that do the same, except when you speak you speak the language of whoever you’re speaking to.
- A small bird tattoo behind your ear that chirps and whistles to you when you’re anxious.
- A tattoo of your child that ages with them.
- A tattoo for those that are hard of hearing or deaf and are unable to read lips at that moment that displays the words of the person speaking to them on their hand.
- A nose ring that is charmed that long as you are wearing it you will never lose your keys.
- A flower scene where some flowers only will bloom at certain times.
- little nocturnal animal tattoos like raccoons that only show up on your skin after dark.
- a tattoo of digital numbers on your wrist that tell the time.
Magical tattoos and piercings!!!
This is the best thing.
Kill the idea that every tattoo needs a meaning
Kill the idea that getting a tattoo is a good idea in the first place
If you don’t want one, don’t get one. Doesn’t make having one a bad idea. Your opinion is not that important buddy.
Then why did you feel so compelled to respond?
You apparently felt compelled to respond to op’s post that had nothing to do with you just so you could bitch about it. There you go. Sucks, don’t it? People getting tattoos doesn’t hurt you or affect you one bit so you can kindly keep your nose out of posts that have nothing to do with you.
I think you misunderstand the point of the internet, Ms. Superior. And you didn’t answer my question. And what are you doing sticking your nose in my post that has nothing to do with you?
This isn’t your post. You replied to someone else’s with your unnecessarily antagonistic bullshit. You want to call it your post, then make your own.
There is no “point” to the Internet. If you think this is just a place for you to find things you don’t like to attack then technology is wasted on you.
Still didn’t answer my question– why, if my opinion doesn’t matter, are you taking so much time out of your day to antagonize me? I don’t like tattoos. I think its generally a bad idea to get one. Get over it.
Also, why do you think me expressing an opinion is antagonization? If anything, you coming into this thread and telling me my opinion doesn’t matter is much more antagonizing than me simply weighing in on the subject.
You didn’t weigh in on it, you outright attacked someone else on their own post. Like I said, don’t like it, make your own post. The post was about people with tattoos and for them, not for you.
I don’t need to answer your question that’s designed purposefully so you can pretend whatever answer is given proves your point when you’re full of shit.
If you don’t like tattoos, you have your own blog, right there, right in front of you, to complain and whine all you want. You don’t need to be hijacking posts that have nothing to do with you just so you can pass moral judgements on strangers you know nothing about.
You’re not stating an opinion, you’re being an elitist little snob that’s forcing their ideals where they’re not wanted. You’re behaving no better than some fundamentalist Christian going on posts about religions they don’t like to preach about God.
You wouldn’t go into an ice cream shop to complain about how much you hate ice cream. You just wouldn’t go buy any. Same logic applies. Don’t like tattoos? Don’t engage posts about them just so you can complain. It’s so simple even you could understand it.
^^^
“The post was about people with tattoos and for them, not for you”
OPs post was trying to spread positivity about people not only getting tattoos, but people getting tattoos just because they’re pretty.
If you don’t like tattoos keep it to yourself?? Don’t go onto someones positive post meant to encourage and support people who either have or want tattoos, and talk shit about it. b/c in the end it has nothing to do with you, it’s not a post for you, it’s not a post about you and it’s not a post that effects you.
express your opinion in your own post or in a post that isn’t designed to support something. As Ecre said, you wouldn’t go into an ice cream shop and loudly proclaim “MAN I HATE ICE CREAM, WTF IS WRONG WITH ALL OF YOU”. Don’t shame people for something they like when it only involves THEIR body.
drop the idea that you need some deep philosophical meaning behind your tattoo, if you got a tattoo simply because its aesthetically pleasing and for no other reason then good for you
aestheticism is the theory of art for art’s sake, and was championed by Oscar Wilde with the belief that surrounding oneself with beautiful things can directly influence the person one becomes. im taking a class on it. so basically every time u get a cool tattoo or a brooch u find in an antique store or a pretty wall print ‘just because u like it,’ Oscar Wilde is nodding approvingly
My sole mission in life is to make Oscar Wilde’s ghost approve of me
I got a tattoo of Casper the friendly ghost on my thigh. When I would slap it, he’d whisper the answers to my math test to me. If anyone else tried to slap it, Casper would say “not so friendly now, huh?” and then proceed to choke them.
man, paying attention to who’s posting these makes a huge difference
can’t decide if I want a tattoo sleeve or a career
“what will your kids think of that tattoo?”
my kids aren’t going to give 2 shits because i’m not going to raise them to be a judgmental asshole like yours did
HRT does change your appearance but so does getting full body tattooing and you can get a full body tattoo at 18 without proving to a doctor that you won’t regret it so like…
…maybe HRT being hard to access is actually about transphobia…
*foaming at the mouth while reblogging*
Cis women can get a boob job at 18 without two notes from a therapist
I could chop my ears off and get dye shot into my skin and split my tongue and put weird implants under my skin and make myself look like a fucking lizard person like SOME DUDE ACTUALLY DID and nobody would say shit, but god forbid some nice young lady or fellow go make themselves a happy and accurate representation of themselves, because THAT’S bad somehow.
Fuck transphobia, fuck torturing people under guise of ‘helping’, let’s get these people every last goddamn thing they need.
Hey guys, don’t… don’t drag the physical appearances of people you dislike into disagreements, at least if it’s on my posts. It’s petty, unnecessary, and irrelevant. Even if that person is a dick, there are loads of other people who look just the same who aren’t assholes. Their looks aren’t the problem.
If it’s a white supremacist tattoo or deliberate choice or something, that’s a different issue. But people look the way they look. I really hate seeing unnecessary mocking over things much more difficult to change than beliefs or opinions.
I just want all girls to feel the importance of reclaiming their bodies, whether it’s getting a new tattoo, taking a yoga class, eating a piece of cake, fucking someone who makes you laugh, buying a new vibrator, or something as simple as getting a new body lotion. Show yourself kindness and love your damn self.
